Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

At a minimum raises should be above inflation. As additional workload and responibility is required, there should also be incremental salary increases.

Leadership likes to pile responsibilities on it's developers without promoting their titles or salaries to match the work and responsibilities they have. As a level 1 SWE, I spend my time helping the seniors around me and am rarely able to learn from others things I don't already know.
