Mr. Robert F. Smerling has been the President of Domestic Cinemas - United States at Reading International, Inc. (formerly Citadel Cinemas, Inc.) since 1994 following Reading International Inc.'s acquisition of City Cinemas Corporation (City Cinemas), a motion picture exhibitor located in New York City. Mr. Smerling also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of City Cinemas Corporation from November 1993 to September 2000. Mr. Smerling was the President of Reading Entertainment Inc., an affiliate to Craig Corp. since January 17, 1997 and of its various domestic and Puerto Rican exhibition subsidiaries since 1994. Mr. Smerling was the President of Loews Theater Management Corporation from May 1990 until November 1993. Mr. Smerling served as a Director of Reading Entertainment, Inc. since September 1997. City Cinemas is an affiliate of James J. Cotter and has entered into an Executive Sharing Agreement with Reading Entertainment Inc. with respect to the services of Mr. Smerling.
