Mr. Alan Register has been an Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking Group at Regions Financial Corporation since July 22, 2016. Mr. Register served as the Chief Executive Officer of Birmingham Market at Compass Bank since January 2015. He served as the Birmingham City President for Commercial Banking unit of Compass Bank from April 2010 to January 2015, was responsible for leading all commercial banking activities in Birmingham, including commercial, medical, governmental and non-profit, and commercial and residential real estate. He oversee business development and community involvement for BBVA Compass in Birmingham and the surrounding area. He was with BBVA Compass for nine years and served as an Executive Vice President and Birmingham Corporate Banking Manager. He works with various community and volunteer organizations throughout Birmingham, including the Breast Cancer Foundation of Alabama, United Way and Oak Mountain Youth Baseball. Mr. Register is a Graduate of Samford University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
