Mr. Leroy Abrahams has been North Central Alabama Area President at Regions Financial Corporation since June 2014. Mr. Abrahams served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Hampton Roads Region - Virginia at SunTrust Banks Inc., since May 1, 2012. Mr. Abrahams served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Suntrust Bank, Western Virginia since May 1, 2012. He served as an Executive Vice President of Retail Banking at SunTrust Banks Inc., until May 1, 2012. He held roles as the Retail Banking Executive and central Group Retail Line of Business Leader. Mr. Abrahams held the position of Consumer Banking Manager in eastern Tennessee for Regions Bank. He served as Head of Strategic and Corporate Planning at Regions Financial Corporation from 2013 to June 2014. Mr. Abrahams served on a variety of nonprofit boards including: United Way of Greater Atlanta, The East Tennessee Economic Development Association, The Knoxville Chamber Partnership, The Women's Haven, The Dogwood Arts Committee, and he was a United Way Allocations Committee Chair. Mr. Abrahams graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a major in Finance.
