Mr. Richard F. Moody has been Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at Regions Financial Corporation since August 2012. Mr. Moody served as a Senior Vice President and Applied Market Research Manager at Regions Financial Corporation from February 2010 to August 2012. Mr. Moody served as Vice President and Senior Economist of PNC Financial Services Group Inc. Mr. Moody was responsible for the strategic analysis and forecasts of key economic and financial trends in PNC's core economic footprint, for which he was frequently quoted in various print and broadcast media. He was also involved in PNC's U.S. macroeconomic analysis and forecasting. Mr. Moody rejoined PNC in December 2002 after serving as Senior Economist of Economy.com in West Chester, PA. Prior to joining PNC in 1998, Mr. Moody served as Director of Economic Analysis of Metro Market Trends, Inc. in Pensacola, FL. He was President of The Economic Club of Pittsburgh. He is a Member of the National Association for Business Economics. He was a Member of the faculty of the Department of Economics at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Mr. Moody is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance. He earned his Doctorate in Economics from Texas A&M University.
