Desde agosto de 2014, o RIOgaleão é responsável pela administração e operação do Aeroporto Internacional Tom Jobim. Com contrato de concessão de 25 anos, a Changi Airports International é a sua principal acionista e subsidiária da Changi Airports Group (CAG), que opera o premiado Aeroporto Changi, em Cingapura, o sexto mais movimentado do mundo e reconhecido como o melhor do planeta. Até o fim da concessão, o RIOgaleão investirá R$ 5,2 bilhões no aeroporto carioca, dos quais R$ 2 bilhões já foram investidos, em melhorias constantes de infraestrutura. O objetivo é trazer novas linhas aéreas, rotas, destinos e estabelecimentos comerciais, para transformá-lo na principal porta de entrada de viajantes para a América Latina.
