James J. Jeter — President of Sales U.S at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers

Mr. James J. Jeter, also known as Jeff, has been President of U.S. Sales at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Incorporated since May 31, 2017. Mr. Jeter leads the combined field and strategic accounts sales force. He served as the President of IronPlanet Inc. Mr. Jeter served as Executive Vice President of IronPlanet, Inc. since July 2009 and its Senior Vice President of International & New Business until July 2009, where he was responsible for leading its international and new business planning activities including identifying strategic initiatives, developing operational strategies and leading new market launch initiatives. Prior to IronPlanet, he served as a Senior Principal of PRTM Management Consultants, where he helped lead PRTM's customer experience consulting for Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to PRTM, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at Manugistics Group Inc., since August 1999. He has more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and international business. He served as a Vice President and Managing Director of European Operations at Iomega Corporation from July 1998 to August 1999. Mr. Jeter served as a Vice President and Managing Director of Asia Pacific Operation at Iomega Corporation from December 1997 to July 1998. He holds a BA from Wake Forest University and an MBA from Mercer University.
