Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team, although busy, are all very friendly and open to collaboration. I can't think of many other companies where the CEO and higher management chat with employees even at the entry level.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Very creative and passionate but still working to develop their position in the market, needs to standardize the business to stabilize the culture. Needs to follow through and deliver on promises or better control the message
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Having one. No, really. Working places with no insurance is not a fun time.
Matches fair market value for the Chicagoland area.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company is not pro women so I definitely feel undervalued.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is, generally speaking, open to feedback and input from others. You can always pitch new plans and ideas.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The culture of me needs to become a culture of team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
They bring in food to keep employees at the office
The culture is strong and morale is typically high. There is significant room for improvement but the people we have are committed.

Coming into the office was great; it really gave me a clear picture of the company atmosphere and dynamic.

What makes you most happy at work?
Personally, I like being busy. The workload can ebb and flow, and I actually prefer the higher paced days to feeling like I'm spinning my wheels.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
This is more of a personal response. I work because I have to, not because I want to. I enjoy what I do but given the financial freedom to do what I want, it would not be IT.
