    Additional Lookups are enabled automatically to prevent any interruption of service, and the cost of overages is viewable inthe billing section of your account page.

    Unused lookups do not roll over month to month. In the example below, the user is on a170 lookups/month plan, andhas 166 lookups remaining. On January 15th, the user's account will renew with a new batch of 170 lookup credits, and any unused lookup credits will expire. The user will also be charged on January 15th for their automated monthly renewal. (If they are on a monthly plan. Annual users are not billed on their monthly renewal date.)

    Subscription Lookup Creditscannot be added back to an account once expired. We recommend choosing a plan that fits your needs as close as possible and utilizing Additional Lookups if needed.

  • You can access your monthly receipts anytime right from your account. To retrieve your RocketReach receipts please follow the steps below.

    Once logged into your RocketReach account, click on your email at the top right of the screen.

    Click on "Account" from the drop-down menu and thenclick on "Usage & Billing" on theleft-handside.

    The "Billing History" section will display all of your RocketReach payment receipts. Click on the date of the receipt you wish to open.All RocketReach receipts can be saved as a PDF for your records.

    RocketReach receipts will only show the following pieces of information.

    Receipt ID

    Receipt Date

    Customer Name

    Customer E-Mail

    Billing Address

    Payment Method

    Paid Subscription Item Name

    Our monthly plans work like anystandard monthly subscription plan, like say your Netflix or Verizon subscription. You pay for a certain number of lookups per month, and you are billed automatically every month (or every year for annual plans).

    When you signup for a standard monthly plan, you are allocated a certain number of lookups per month. Every time you look someone up, one lookupis deducted from your monthly allocation of lookups.

    Lookups do not roll over to the next month.

    You are charged initiallywhen you signup for a paid plan, and then automatically every month on your renewal date.

    You can cancel your plan anytime you want right from your account.

    There is no minimum contract period. You may signup for as little as one month.

    You can changeyour plan at any time. You will not lose any unused lookups when you switch.

    When will I be charged?

    Below is an example of a user who signs up for a monthly plan of a 100 lookups per month on January 5th. The user gets charged every month as shown below. The un-used lookups will not be carried over.

  • RocketReach supports 3rd party app integrations through Zapier. RocketReach can push new contacts to other apps as well as allowing other apps to search and lookup new contacts directly in RocketReach. These features are available in all of our plans.

    To get started, you will need to create an account with Zapier.

    What is Zapier?

    Zapier is a platform that connects different apps together by automating common tasks. For example, you can connect RocketReach to any of the supported CRMs to keep your contacts up to date. Any time you make a lookup in RocketReach, the contact will be sent to Zapier, which will, in turn, make sure that information is added to your CRM.

    To get started, just create an account and add the RocketReach app. To connect Zapier and RocketReach you will need your API key, which is available from your account setting page. If you've never used your API key before, its a unique key that apps use to talk to your RocketReach account securely.

    The RocketReach Zapier app provides the following functions:

    Lookup Trigger: Whenever you do a lookup in RocketReach the contact details are automatically sent to any Zapier apps you have set up.

    Contact Search: Zapier apps can perform searches through the RocketReach API and retrieve the results almost instantly. Use this to automate searches with your different apps.

    Contact Lookup Action: This Zapier action allows apps to use the RocketReach API to make lookups without having to write any custom code.

    Why Zapier?

    By integrating with Zapier directly, RocketReach can provide support for thousands of apps that all support the Zapier platform. This makes it much easier for RocketReach to support new apps as they get added to the Zapier platform and provide bugfixes and stability improvements.

    Getting Started

    With Zapier, you can connect RocketReach with many different apps. The steps are roughly the same, so to demonstrate the process we will walk through how to connect RocketReach with Google Sheets.

    This tutorial will demonstrate the following steps.

    Creating a new Zap

    Connecting Google Sheets with Zapier

    Sending RocketReach contacts to Google Sheets

    From your Zapier dashboard start by clicking Make a Zap!. Optionally, you can type in RocketReach and the app you want to connect to in the search boxes.

    Select RocketReach as your trigger app. Zapier will configure RocketReach to automatically send new contacts whenever they are looked up.

    You will see a screen asking you to connect your account. Click the Connect an account button.

    Next, you will see a modal asking for your API key.

    Your API key is accessibly from your RocketReach account. You will need to temporarily leave zapier.com and go to rocketreach.co to retrieve the key. Do this by clicking the API Usage & Settings section link to go to your RocketReach account page. Highlight/select and copy your API key.

    Go back to the Zapier modal and paste into the input box. Then click the Orange, Yes, Continue button.

    Back on the Zap setup page, click the Test button. If everything was done correctly so far, it should turn into a green Success! indicator. If you are having trouble at this point make sure you copied the API key correctly. Also, make sure you have verified your email address on your RocketReach account.

    Zapier is now connected to RocketReach. Click Save + Continue. Zapier will ask if you want to test pulling in contacts from RocketReach. You can test this step, or skip it for now.

    Eventually, you will see an option to configure an action app.

    For this demo, well type Google Sheets into the search box and select it. Well select Create Spreadsheet Row so that Zapier adds a new row in our spreadsheet whenever we find a new contact in RocketReach. The next step will have you connect your Google account with Zapier. Follow Googles instructions to do this.

    RocketReach does not get access to your Google account. Setting this up only gives Zapier the ability to read and write to Google Sheets.

    The next step will ask you to select a spreadsheet. Either create one or use an existing one. Make sure you have column heading for the contact information you want to record. For testing, we recommend at least including name and email.

    You will need to set up how Zapier records information from RocketReach into the spreadsheet.

    Setup the name field by clicking the button to the right of the input box.

    Select the Full Name option from the drop-down. This takes the name from the contact and stores it in the name column of the spreadsheet.

    Do the same with email. Note that you can filter through your options with the search box. Select Current Primary Work Email.

    You should see something that looks like this (note the sample contact may be different).

    Click continue to reach the final step. From here you can send a test to make sure Zapier can update the sheet. Click Send Test To Google Sheets.

    Wait a few seconds and you should see the new row added to the spreadsheet.

    RocketReach also provides a button to test your Zap. This tests every step in the chain so it may be worth doing the first time you set up a Zap.

    From your RocketReach account page,you should see a button to test your Zaps.

    This walkthrough went through the steps in connecting Zapier to RocketReach, and Google Sheets and setting up a Zap that pushes new RocketReach contacts into a spreadsheet.

    We then went over the steps to test to make sure everything was set up correctly. From here, you should be able to do lookups and have any new lookups automatically appended to your Google Sheet.

    When you click the "Get contact info" button, this constitutes a contact lookup,and the person gets added to your contact list. The data completion rate at RocketReach is generally at least 80-85% for emails. While this should not happen very often, ifemail information is not returned, it will not constitute a contact lookup.

    If you are on a monthly plan, your lookup will be deducted from your monthly allocation.

    Once you've added someone to your contact list, they stay there forever. You may download your contacts at any time, by visiting your My Contacts page.

    You can look up contact info for any person by looking them up on our search page, or using our RocketReach Chrome Extension.

    Email, phone, social links are revealed, and the profileis added to your contact list.

    View Team Member Usage: See how many credits each seat has use/has left.

    Add a Seat: Add a new seat to your Team Plan.

    Assign a User: Assign a seat to a team member. Also used to Reassign seats.

    Change Plan Level of a Seat: Upgrade/Downgrade the subscription level for a seat. (Available for monthly subscriptions only).

    Remove a Seat from the Team Plan: Remove a seat from the Team Plan. (Available for monthly subscriptions only).

    Re-Assign a Seat to a new User: Comes in handy when team members change so you can continue to use the seat purchased. Especially useful for Annual Seats.

    The person who creates the Team Plan will be the Team Admin (Team Owner).

    When complete click 'Add Seats' button.

    Click the 'Start Team' button.

    Review Seats and Total Purchase Amount and Click 'Purchase'.

    Enter your credit card information and complete your purchase.

    You do not have to assign your team seats prior to starting your team/completing your purchase, however, completing a purchase does begin the subscription for all seats.

    If you exhaust all of your monthly lookup credits before your account renews for the next month, you can use 'Additional Lookups' which charges you $0.30 for each additional found lookup result until your account renews again for the next month.

    RocketReach runs all email addresses through a multi-step validation process including SMTP verification. When an email is returned 100% it means that it has passed the validation process indicating that it is a working email address. Of course, there will still be times when these emails will bounce due to factors beyond our control.

    When RocketReach has been unable to confirm the validity of certain emails (for reasons beyond our control), we will still include them for referencealong with a confidence score(displayed as a percentage less than 100%). In these cases, the emails may bounce, but the likelihood of bouncing is lower for emails with higher confidence scores.

    For example: In the screenshot below,[email protected] is more likely to be correct than [email protected].

  • Contact lists are a great way to keep your contacts organized or to keep a shared RocketReach account organized.

    To Create a New Contact List:

    1. Go to the 'My Contacts' Tab then click the 'Create new list' button.

    2. Give your list a name and click 'Ok'.

    Your list will now appear in the 'My Contacts' list section on the left of the screen. The account will remember thelast list used on your computer and select that list as default the next time as well.
