What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership has not scaled at all with growth. Some members are totally disengaged from day to day and some are TOO engaged with day to day. The result is too little strategic direction and too much micro management.
Leadership has not scaled well as the firm has grown. They are still too involved in the day to day execution of tasks when they should be focused on being a Leadership team for the company
What is the best part about your compensation package?
My benefits package is fairly constructed, the bonus structure is clear, and pay is good
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation does not meet market range for NYC & bonus structure is opaque. Benefits are good
What are some of the best things about your team?
An engaged group of highly intelligent people from a wide variety of backgrounds. We're all smart people who care and bring that intelligence to the table.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The team works well, but since there's no guidance from management there's little strategic guidance or thinking behind the direction we take which impacts how well we work together.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Collaboration between team members and support during tough times
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The interaction and input of the management team in day to day activities. The team interaction are fantastic and almost everyone is friends. There is a consistent feeling of us vs them.
