John Gleason — Chief Sales Officer and Executive Vice President at Ryder System

Mr. John J. Gleason has been the Chief Sales Officer and Executive Vice President at Ryder System, Inc. since November 2, 2015 and served as its Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Fleet Management Solutions from October 2009 to November 2, 2015. Mr. Gleason served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for North America at Ryder System. He has an outstanding 25 year career with Automatic Data Processing (ADP). He served as Vice President of Employer Service and Sales at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. since 2005. He served as Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Employer Services division of ADP. In that role, he was functionally responsible for all sales and sales-related activities for Employer Services, which included 5,500 sales employees, with 40 different product and service solutions and seven separate operating units with $1.2 billion in new annualized sales. He joined ADP in 1983 and served as its Senior Vice President of Sales, Dealer Services from 1998 to 2005. Mr. Gleason was responsible for leading the Automotive and Truck Dealer Services Sales Organization of 550 sales employees. He earned his Certified Public Accountant while with Coopers and Lybrand following his graduation. Mr. Gleason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois.
