SADA is a proud partner of one of the largest student-governed, nonprofit organizations, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). NSBE advances the aspirations of collegiate and pre-collegiate students and technical professionals in engineering and technology. Their Career Center is designed to help connect organizations with African-American STEM talent for recruitment. They assist organizations in achieving their diversity recruiting goals of finding qualified engineering talent for internships and job opportunities.
Partnering with NSBE will also give SADA the opportunity to access NSBE nationwide conventions and logo recognition on NSBE communication channels, such as the NSBE Magazine, the NSBE website, and on NSBE social media. The SADA Talent Acquisition team attended the first convention in August with great success! We met a number of candidates interested in GCP with credentials to enter into our SADA University program and two have since been hired into our program. This is only the beginning...looking forward to how this partnership will help SADA meet its DEI initiatives while providing a unique opportunity for new graduates in the field!
