We're privately held so we don't have stock/equity, at least not at the individual contributor level. We do get a bonus, but of course the fin services industry isn't particularly competitive. Also, benefits admin has improved, but we still use the terrible EyeMed plan instead of VSP for eyecare
Generally good merit increase process. At least I understand the basis for my annual increase
There is a huge discrepancy between the salary and the work load/expectations. They either need to hire a lot more people, or pay their existing employees a lot more to compensate for the burn out.
