I've never experienced layoffs here.

My team is small but very tight. A great boss that doesn't micromanage and we share common goals and outlooks

What should I wear for an interview at Sauce Labs?
I wore a button up and clean pants (Slacks or jeans), but please wear what you feel comfortable presenting yourself in to prospective teammates
Whatever makes you comfortable.
How long after an interview at Sauce Labs does it take to hear back?
I actually received an offer while at the airport flying back home on the same day as my interview. So, again, not long!

Unlimited PTO
Unlimited PTO is not bad! But that's secondary to a daily work environment is which everyone is free to be themselves, manage their own schedule, and live a balanced life.

Unlimited PTO for all US employees. Not sure for EMEA.

What are the most important soft skills I need to be successful at Sauce Labs?
Eagerness to contribute. If you have that, and a willingness to learn and work hard, the sky is the limit for you at Sauce.
Is it possible to switch teams at Sauce Labs? If so, what is the process?
Yes. We strongly encourage lateral movement, if people want it. The team member would work out a transition plan between the manager of their current and new team and execute.
What is the onboarding process like at Sauce Labs and how long does it last?
We have an organized process that involves conversations with all the major teams within the org which focus around helping the new hire understand what the presenting team does and who they can go to with further questions. That lasts about a week. Teams then spend whatever additional time necessary with new hires to get them up to speed and productive.

What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at Sauce Labs?
Don't be afraid to ask questions! We strive to be a high-trust, generative environment and new folks should feel empowered to ask if they don't understand something and confident that their questions will be taken seriously and answered earnestly.
