SBA Communications Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

My continuing education package and matching 401k contribution

Review from Finance Dept

benefits package and stock compensation package

Review from Finance Dept

Stock ownership opportunity, a comprehensive and competitive fringe benefit, PTO policy, among others

Review from HR Dept

I feel all around it is a very throughout and generous package that SBA offers to us. I've noticed over the years it changes, but I think its from leadership reviewing it and seeing if other options would be better suited for everyone.

Review from Operations Dept

The best part of our compensation package is our Stock Plan

Review from Sales Dept

The Restricted Stock Unit and Employee Stock Purchase Plan programs

Review from HR Dept

I like the fact that I am provided shares in the company as part of my benefits. This makes me feel that I am an important part of our company and their growth.

Review from Sales Dept

The annual stock options granted.

Review from Admin Dept

Health & wellness, including insurance & PTO and Stock packages.

Review from Sales Dept

The amount my employer pays for my benefits

Review from HR Dept

The company strives to benchmark against other companies and allows all employees to have ownership

Review from Finance Dept

The best part about my compensation package is the salary as well as the PTO provided.

Review from HR Dept

The benefits that SBA offers are outstanding

Review from Operations Dept

The stock options are best part of our plan.

Review from Legal Dept

The RSU and ESPP programs.

Review from HR Dept

Long term incentive, Bonus, Benefits contributions

Review from HR Dept

Variable compensation thru stock performance shares

Review from Business Development Dept

The ownership mindset created by getting stocks.

Review from IT Dept

It's fair/competitive and multi faceted (e.g. esp. bonus plan and RSU program). Plus, it motivates me even more to continue to have an ownership mindset.

Review from HR Dept

The stock plan is the best part of the compensation package.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation is lower than the local market average and is not balanced with the amount responsibilities I'm expected to carry nor with expectations of my availability

Review from IT Dept

I would like my accomplishments to be recognized financially.

Review from Legal Dept

Sadly in this day and age, the gender wage gap is and always will be a struggle for women. Especially in a tech industry where women are not

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation packages are heavily skewed towards discretionary bonus and stock plans with long term value, but no immediate benefit. Increasing base salaries to be competitive with other companies would be beneficial.

Review from Legal Dept

To have title and actual job duties match.

Review from Communications Dept

Stocks purchase discount option program

Review from Admin Dept

I feel the position I hold is undervalued. There is little chance someone with 1-3 years experience could resolve the complex issues that arise on a daily basis. I have a BS in engineering technology and 20yrs of work experience with 5 yrs in this position and was ranked a p1 on global framework.

Review from Operations Dept

Although I have appreciated receiving the annual 3.5% (highest in my department) salary increase, I wish they would consider increasing it based on amount of years employed.

Review from Sales Dept

I was given an entry level title, but my responsibilities are of a senior professional. I wish my title and compensation matched the level of projects and tasks I am constantly given. I understand this is not a company issue, but something specific to my department. I really enjoy working at SBA.

Review from Sales Dept

A higher salary. The benefits are incredible and the RSU/stock options are great but a higher annual salary that's more competitive with the industry would be very beneficial
