Mr. Don Russell Harris, also known as Rusty, has been Senior Vice President of Gas Distribution at SCANA Corp. since 2013. Mr. Harris has been President of Public Service Company of North Carolina Incorporated since January 2006. He has been the President of gas operations - South Carolina Electric & Gas Company since 2013. He served as Chief Operating Officer - Public Service Company of North Carolina Incorporated since January 2006. He served as Senior Vice President of SCANA Corp. since May 2012 until 2013. He joined South Carolina Electric & Gas Company, a SCANA subsidiary as a Customer Service Engineer in 1986. Mr. Harris served as Senior Vice President at SCANA Corp since May 2012. After holding various positions in Electric Operations, in 1997 he was named Vice President ' Wires Operations. In 2003, he transferred to Gastonia, North Carolina, to be the Vice President of Operations of PSNC Energy, a natural gas business unit of SCANA Corporation. He serves as on the board for the North Carolina Chamber, Gaston Regional Chamber, United Way of Gaston County, Gaston County Education Foundation. He also serves as a Trustee at Gaston Day School and as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Gastonia. He was past chair of the Gaston Regional Chamber and the United Way of Gaston County, served as past board member of Gaston County's Economic Development Division, Cancer Services of Gaston County, the Schiele Museum of Natural History and Clemson University Board of Visitors. He is a 1986 graduate from Clemson University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Harris earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 1990.
