Mr. Byrne was the Executive Vice President of SCANA Corp. (SCANA) from 2009 to January 1, 2018. He served as Senior Vice President of SCANA. Mr. Byrne served as Executive Vice President'Generation and Transmission at South Carolina Electric & Gas Company since 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Byrne served as an Executive Vice President of Generation & Transmission at SCANA from 2011 to December 1, 2011. He served as an Executive Vice President of Generation - South Carolina Electric & Gas Company at SCANA. Mr. Byrne served as Executive Vice President of Generation Nuclear & Fossil Hydro at South Carolina Electric & Gas Company from 2009 to 2011. Mr. Byrne served as an Executive Vice President of Generation and Chief Nuclear Officer at SCANA. Mr. Byrne served as the Senior Vice President-Generation, Nuclear and Fossil Hydro of South Carolina Electric & Gas Co., principal subsidiary of SCANA. He has over 21 years experience in the nuclear industry. He holds Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University in Michigan.
