Sciencesoftare happy to announce the latest release of S3control is now available. This includes a number of new features and improvements:

TNavigator Support

S3control now supports the loading and native running of TNavigator models.

Multiple Simulator Manual Support

Each supported reader can now handle a collection of manuals to open and link to. This allows multiple versions to be stored and used with compatible models.

Adding Wells

Simple wells can now be added into your model using the new well editor from the Wells concept view.

Adding Faults

Adding faults has been available in S3control since last years release. In 2019 we further enhance the feature by allowing a fault to be added by clicking on cells on the grid.

Derived Variables Enhancements

2019 sees the introduction of arrays in the Variables feature of S3control.

Conceptual Variables

For the first time the Concepts and Variables feature are now linked together. Some concepts like reference depth and contact depths can now be used as variables.

Editor Settings Control

The text editor now has a dedicated options panel in the main application settings page.

Redesigned Simulator Manual

For 2019 a new PDF viewing control has been added which has better memory efficiency and simple user interface.

Sciencesoft are happy to announce that thelatest release ofS3GRAF v2019.1is now available. The new features to be found in the latest version ofS3GRAFare outlined as follows:

Workflow Manager

The Workflow Manager is a new way of using the power of S3GRAF for plotting, creating new quantities and performing analyses. Workflows capture a standard reservoir engineering task and allows it to be recreated quickly and easily from the Workflow Manager.

The Workflow Manager presents all the included workflows in an easily navigable list that can then be selected for application. The user can then set the relevant properties, based on the loaded data, to produce the analyses and information required.

Support for large Nexus/VIP PLT files

Improved support for Nexus/VIP Plot (PLT) files to read files larger than 4GB.

Additionally there is a new option to convert very large PLT files into an accessible database that can support Fetch on Demand via the HPG licence module.

Layer Analysis, Sample naming

It is now possible to define a name for the Sample dataset output by the Layer Analysis process

Sciencesoft accepts requests for maintenance and support by telephone, email or fax. Telephone support is provided from 0900 to 1730 GMT/BST, Monday-Friday inclusive, excluding Scottish public holidays.

Users ofour,who subscribe to annual maintenance and support, will also be supplied with regular updates of oursoftwareas and whenthese become available.

As part of our support portal we will include a number of video tutorials for our software products. These are hosted on YouTube and embedded in relevant articles on our support portal.

Video Control and Quality

These videos can be played using the conventional YouTube video controls (To launch the videos, click play). The resolution for our videos will be720p or higher, however YouTube will alter the quality of the video depending on screen size andbandwidth limitations. We recommned that videos be viewed in fullscreen using the button provided. This will automatically attempt to play the video at full quality if the internet connection is sufficient.

Playlists

To keep our articles short and easy to navigate some videos will be condensed into a playlist with the article acting as a table of content for the playlist. To navigate the playlist use the buttonin the top left corner of the video to view all the videos available in the playlist . Use this to navigate the playlist or else use the Forward and Back controls to step between the available videos in sequence.
