Before joining Scoop, Bill spent over 13 years as the Executive Vice President of Sales at fuel cell manufacturer Bloom Energy. Prior to joining Bloom Energy, Bill spent over a decade at American Power Conversion in a number of senior leadership, management and sales roles. Bill graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor's degree in General Engineering and spent ten years as a Surface Warfare Officer, serving aboard destroyers and cruisers in the Pacific Fleet. He also holds a master's degree from the University of Rhode Island.
