Executive Bio
Julie Becker joined Select Sires in September of 2019. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a dual major in Animal Science and Agricultural Communications. She earned her Master of Science in Ruminant Nutrition from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. She met her husband, Jason, in Montana and lived there until 2006. Becker spent 23 years in Veterinary Practice Management, most recently at The Ohio State University Large Animal Services in Marysville, Ohio. She most recently served as their Assistant Director before accepting her current role as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO at Select Sires Inc. Becker’s proudest accomplishment is being a mother to two boys, Andrew (23), Austin (20) and being married to Jason for 26 years.
