We are dedicated to finding genetic solutions that help us and our customers reduce our environmental footprint, increase efficiency, and emphasize the importance of social responsibility.

Environmental Sustainability

Select Sires is a working farm, entrusted with caring for more than 1,600 sires and more than 1,200 acres of cropland. Environmental stewardship is priority and we work closely with local Environmental Protection Agencies and Departments of Agriculture and National Resources to implement plans that protect our land, air and water. Reducing phosphate buildup and water runoff, monitoring and designing protocols for responsible fertilizer applications and partnerships to compost manure are just a few of Select Sires' efforts to reduce our environmental impact.

Community Impact and Philanthropy

Select Sires remains committed to safely serving our community, supporting industry events and programs, and providing sponsorship to agriculture’s future leaders. In 2020, Select Sires Inc. and member cooperatives dedicated more than 3.5 million dollars to member programs, industry and community support and youth leadership opportunities.
