Executive Bio
Todd Kranz is the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Select Sires, Inc. He has a Bachelor of Science in Dairy Science from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Management from Krannert School of Business at Purdue University. Kranz was a dairyman from 1983-1988 and then went to work for a competing A.I. company for more than 22 years. Most recently, he was employed by Cargill Animal Nutrition and accepted his current role as CDO in August 2012. He is responsible for working with the leaders of Select Sires’ global businesses, which have grown from a combined +12M units to over 24M units. Select Sires’ export business has more than tripled through World Wide Sires (WWS) distributors and the addition of subsidiaries in more than 10 countries. After working for both privately and publicly owned companies, Kranz enjoys working for a Board of Directors that is farmer-led and a cooperative that is farmer-owned.
