Executive Bio
Mark Pastrone is Chief Operating Officer and has over 25 years of experience building high-tech companies. Prior to SemaConnect, Mark led the development of several commercial start-ups in the aerospace industry. He was part of the founding team at GeoEye which was acquired by DigitalGlobe (NYSE:DGI) and is now the world’s largest commercial satellite imagery provider. He also led many space commercialization ventures at Orbital Sciences Corporation (NYSE:ORB), the developer of the world’s first commercial rocket. Mark earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Stanford. He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. When not fishing on the Chesapeake Bay, Mark enjoys nice long drives in his Tesla Model 3.
