I was hired to do reconstruction. After a period of time my position was given away to subcontractors, due to lack of hiring extra personnel. Now I have been pushed manipulated and humiliated in front of the rest of the team. After stating my opinions and attempts to stand up for myself.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The lines of communication are horrible. Those in charge refuse to take accountability and chose to retaliate versus find an alternate solution.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I was asked about my experience and knowledge of the position I was hired for. I was also given a reasonable salary.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I think they need to take accountability and be more mature in the workplace. The gossiping and retaliation is completely unnecessary, disrespectful, unprofessional and very demeaning.
