I like working at ServPro but I think it is unfair that the men make more money than the women. We do the same things men do and we work just as hard if not harder but yet they make more money than we do and it's not fair.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Treat men and women equally. This goes out to every single Servpro shop in the United States.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There's a mixture of people. Men and women. Men get treated like kings while the women get their scraps.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The lady who interviewed me was really nice but she left out a lot of details that would have been nice to know before I accepted the job.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I doubt it will ever improve. They think that they are doing nothing wrong. Until they start paying women just as much as they pay men then nothing will ever change.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love my female crew chiefs. And I like all of my female co-workers except for one. I like the fact that we get to go out everyday and do different things.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would feel better if I was making the same amount of money as the men. We do the same things they do. We work just as hard if not harder than they do and yet we make less than they do.
