Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co Ltd was incorporated in the People's Republic of China on 18 January 1994 as a joint stock company with limited liability under the Company Law of the PRC. The Company is engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and sale of a range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. It also engages in the research and development, manufacturing and sale of a broad range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products as well as operates a network of retail pharmacy stores. Its business is segmented into four areas: Production, Distribution, Retail and Others. Production segment engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and sale of a range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. The distribution segment provides supply chain solutions and related services to pharmaceutical manufacturers and dispensers, such as hospitals, distributors and retail pharmacies. Retail segment operates a network of retail pharmacy stores. The other segment engages in various activities such as asset management, investment holding, and among others.
