If you open the app and see a login or registration page instead of the home screen, you've probably been logged out (or this is your first time opening the app and you don’t have an account). Don't worry—all registered accounts are safely stored on our servers. To log into your account, choose the method you originally signed up with (email, Facebook, or Google) and follow the on-screen prompts. If you forgot your login email address, get in touch with us and we'll look it up. If you forgot your password, request a reset link on the login page. Just tap the ""x"" next to that email address to enter an alternate email. You can still do your regular shopkicking, just remember that you can only collect kicks on one device at a time, so you only need one when you go out shopping. To get the most kicks to more shopkickers kick levels vary depending on a number of factors, including special in-store offers, seasonal promotions, or individual user behaviors. View ArticleMissed walk-ins can happen for a number of reasons. Please verify that Shopkick has all the permissions it needs to detect you and function properly. Please note that these permissions include camera, location, bluetooth, and microphone (microphone required on iOS for Shopkick versions 5.3.11 and below and on Android for all versions). If you've double checked to make sure our app has all the permissions it needs, and you've also verified that your wi-fi or phone data connection is solid and working, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Sometimes missed walk-ins are due to connection issues within the building you're walking into. In particular, retailers like Costco, Target, and Walmart tend to set up shop in large, concrete buildings which can tamper with a mobile device's connection. If you connect to their guest wi-fi, please be sure you're accepting their terms through your browser, otherwise you will simply appear to be connected, but you will be unable to use that connection. View ArticleWhen a store that normally offers walk-in kicks isn't offering any, it usually means you've hit your walk-in limit for that store or chain. We have limited funds from our partners for walk-ins, and we'd like to make sure as many people as possible can participate, which is why we have to limit walk-ins per person. To determine if you've hit your walk-in limit for a particular store or chain, we look at your previous 30 days of activity. If you've received walk-in kicks more than a certain number of times, the walk-in will not be available. If a walk-in is available, you will see the number of kicks you can receive listed in the store information screen. Yes I found this article helpful No I did not find this article helpful
View ArticleTo get walk-in kicks at participating stores, just open the app and walk into the store. Your device will pick up our signal near the entrance and reward you with kicks. Before you head into the store, make sure: • Bluetooth is enabled • Shopkick has access to your microphone (if you are on Android or using Shopkick version 5.3.11 or below on iOS) • You are connected via a strong cell/data or wi-fi signal If you don't get kicks right away, try the "3 Rs": • Refresh: Always refresh the store page before walking in. Tap the "Earn" tab, pull down on the main store list and release to update. • Restart: If it's still not working, try restarting your device inside the store and then re-opening the app. This can help jumpstart the signal receptor. • Reinstall: If you're having issues regularly, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This can provide the most up-to-date location information and help with walk-ins.
