The free health care clinics

We have a walk-in clinic on the other end of the plant parking lot that is free.
Medical insurance package is wonderful
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being tenured and being paid less than someone with no supervisory history hired off the street. Giving them higher pay and more vacation is not right.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Friendly, positive people. Makes them approachable at every level. Simmons seems to attract upper level minds and personalities. Working here is an enjoyable investment of my work life.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is treated quite well here at Simmons Dubuque. Variety of backgrounds and ethnicities makes for a robust and fulfilling work atmosphere.

Management that actually cares, not just saying they care and then doing the opposite.

They took the time to answer questions.

What makes you most happy at work?
The possibility of promotion and advancement thru assessment/capabilities evaluations. Being able to approach my position with a positive mindset each day. Knowing what expectations are connected with my position. Great communication with upper level staff.
The end of the week and not having to deal with equipment issues daily.
