Mr. David J. Aldrich, also known as Dave, has been an Executive Chairman at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. since May 08, 2014. Mr. Aldrich served as the Chief Executive Officer of Skyworks Solutions Inc. since April 2000 until May 11, 2016. Mr. Aldrich served as the President of Skyworks Solutions Inc. since September 1999 until May 8, 2014. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Industries, Inc. since April 2000. He joined Alpha Industries, Inc. in 1995 as Treasurer. He served as Vice President and General Manager of the Alpha Microwave Division of Alpha Industries, Inc. since May 1996. He served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alpha Industries, Inc. from January 1995 to April 1996. From September 1999 to April 2000, Mr. Aldrich served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Skyworks Solutions. From May 1996 to May 1999, when he was appointed Executive Vice President, Mr. Aldrich served as the Vice President and General Manager of the semiconductor products segment of Skyworks Solutions Inc. Mr. Aldrich joined Skyworks Solutions Inc. in 1995 as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. From 1989 to 1995, he served senior management positions at M/A-COM, Inc. including Manager Integrated Circuits Active Products, Corporate Vice President Strategic Planning, Director of Finance and Administration and Director of Strategic Initiatives with the Microelectronics Division. From September 1991 to December 1994, Mr. Aldrich served as Senior Manager of supporting the commercial wireless businesses at M/A-Com, Inc. He worked for Adams-Russel. Mr. Aldrich has been a Director of Belden Inc. since February 22, 2007; Acacia Communications, Inc. since September 13, 2017 and Skyworks Solutions Inc. since April 2000. He served as a Director of Ericsson Amplified Technologies Inc. since June 1995 until 2000. He served as a Director of Alpha Industries, Inc. since April 2000. Mr. Aldrich was named the 2004 Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year in the Semiconductor category. In 2014, Mr. Aldrich was named CEO of the Year by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. Mr. Aldrich holds his M.B.A from the University of Rhode Island and B.S Degree in marketing and political science from Providence College.
