Mr. Andrew W. Mathias has been the President at SL Green Realty Corp. since April 16, 2007 and has been its Director since June 5, 2014. Previously, Mr. Mathias served as the Chief Investment Officer at SL Green Realty Corp., since January 2004 until January 2011 and its Director of Investments since 2002. He joined the firm in March 1999 as a Vice President. Prior to joining SL Green, Mr. Mathias served in various positions with Capital Trust and its predecessor, Victor Capital Group, working on a wide variety of real estate principal investments and advisory transactions on behalf of both clients and the firm from June 1995 to July 1998. He was a Consultant of Gramercy Capital Corp. from October 28, 2008 to April 24, 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Mathias served as the Chief investment officer and Managing Director at GKK Manager LLC from August 2004 to October 28, 2008 and was responsible for SL Green Realty Corp.'s equity and structured finance investments. He was also responsible for SL Green Realty Corp.'s acquisitions/dispositions and its joint venture program. Mr. Mathias also worked on the high yield/restructuring desk at Bear Stearns and Co. He serves as an Executive Director of 600 Lexington Realty Corp. Mr. Mathias earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
