SolarWorld AG is a Germany-based company made its inception on December 18, 1998. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is a manufacturer of crystalline solar power technology engaged in research, development, production and recycle on all levels of the solar value added chain. The focus of operations is on the production and international distribution of high-end solar energy facilities from rooftop solar systems to components for outdoor solar parks. The products can be used both in the on- and off-grid area. It also offers investors development and operation services for large-scale solar power plants. It supplies wafers and cells to customers in the international solar industry.
