Executive Bio
Mr. Allan Schwartzman is the Founder and Principal of Art Agency, Partners. Mr. Schwartzman has almost two decades of experience in advising some of the world's most influential and sophisticated contemporary art collectors and museums. Previously, Mr. Schwartzman was a founding staff member of the New Museum of Contemporary Art and Director of the Barbara Gladstone Gallery. He has been the Chairman of Fine Art Division at Sotheby's since January 11, 2016 and serves as its Executive Vice President and Head of Art Agency and Partners Advisory Services. He has written extensively about art in numerous books and for publications including The New Yorker and The New York Times.
