Barkley Stuart — Executive Vice President of Federal Government Affairs at Southern Wine & Spirits

Mr. Barkley Stuart has been Executive Vice President of Federal Government Affairs at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC since July 2016. Mr. Stuart served as Executive Vice President and Assistant Secretary of Glazer's Wholesale Drug Company Inc. (now Glazer's, Inc.). Mr. Stuart worked closely with Sales and Marketing in developing key Supplier relationships and was responsible for Glazer's external affairs initiatives, corporate governance, strategic planning and Board development and directs community initiatives including philanthropy and social responsibility. Mr. Stuart served as the Chief Operating Officer of Glazer's Wholesale Drug Company, Inc. He served over 8 Years in the Alcohol Beverage Industry. He served Twelve years as Director of Training and Director of Finance for a small Not-for-Profit Organization doing International Development Video Organizing and Education and 4 years at a Computer Consulting Firm. He directed Communication for Change, Inc. (a small not-for-profit organization doing international training and development in India, Bangladesh, Nigeria, China, Indonesia, Mali etc. for 14 years). He serves as a Director of the Wine & Spirits Wholesale Association. He served as a Director at Glazer's, Inc. He serves as a Director of Texas Facilities Commission and of various not for profit organizations. He served as a Director of Alliance Media Holdings Inc. (also known as Alliance Distributors Holding Inc.) from April 2009 to November 2010. Mr. Stuart earned an AB Computer Science with minor course study in Economics, Brown University in 1982, Executive MBA and Owner President Managed Program from Harvard Business School in 2004.
