Mr. Martin Crane, also known as Marty, has been Executive Vice President and General Manager of New York at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC since September 26, 2017. Mr. Crane is responsible for managing the day-to-day sales and operations functions throughout the state at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits. He is a seasoned sales executive with 32 years of experience in the wine and spirits and consumer packaged goods industries. Mr. Crane served as the Vice President, Commercial Operations for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits of New York. Prior to joining Southern Glazer's, Mr. Crane served as Senior Vice President of Spirits Sales at Pernod Ricard USA, LLC from October 2010 to June 29, 2016. He managed a team of 270 field sales, marketing and finance professionals covering all trade channels. Mr. Crane served as a General Manager of Division at Pernod Ricard USA, LLC until October 2010. Prior to joining Pernod Ricard USA, Mr. Crane held sales and management roles with Seagram Americas, Carter Products, Beiersdorf, Inc., and Beecham Products. During his 15-year tenure at Pernod Ricard USA, he held multiple roles of increasing responsibility, including positions in national accounts and regional management. He joined Seagram in 1998 and moved into Pernod after the French firm acquired Seagram in 2001. He served as a Division Vice President of East Sales Region. He began his beverage alcohol career in 1998 at Seagram, where he helped to shape a strategic approach to category management. Prior to Seagram, he held a series of progressively responsible sales and marketing roles at several consumer product companies.
