Steven Becker — Executive Vice President of Compliance and Treasurer at Southern Wine & Spirits

Mr. Steven R. Becker has been an Executive vice president of Compliance at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC (formerly Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc.) since July 2016 and has been its Treasurer since 1993. Mr. Becker served as an Executive Vice President of Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC since 1993. Mr. Becker is responsible for Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC's treasury management functions, including bank relationships, cash management, and other bank-related services. He also oversees mortgage-related work, leases, real estate transactions and all bank loan compliance documentation, among other duties. In addition, Mr. Becker actively oversees the government relations activities, both at the state and federal levels. Mr. Becker served as Vice President of Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC since 1993. In 1978, Mr. Becker joined Knickerbocker Liquors Corporation as a Sales Manager of the New York distributor's wine division. Subsequently, he was named Assistant General Sales Manager, with responsibility for a 170-person sales force. He served as Assistant to the President. Mr. Becker served as President at Beauvignot International. Mr. Becker began his career at Southern Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC in 1985 as Vice President of Finance, serving with Herbert Joseph. Mr. Becker serves on the Board of Directors of the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America. Mr. Becker graduated from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. Mr. Becker went on to study law and received a J.D. degree from the Boston University School of Law. Before starting his professional career, Mr. Becker received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
