Mr. Webster served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Optimer Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since June 5, 2012 until 2013 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance. Mr. Webster served as Managing Director of First Albany Corporation since January 2007. He has over 20 years of Healthcare Industry related experience. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance of Adolor Corporation from June 30, 2008 to 2011 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as Managing Director, Investment Banking Division Healthcare Group of Broadpoint Capital, Inc. Mr. Webster was Co-founder of Neuronyx Inc., and served as its Chief Executive Officer and President from 2000 to 2006. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Garnet Biotherapeutics, Inc. Mr. Webster served at Paine Webber Incorporated for 13 years, where he was involved in capital raising activities and announced M&A transactions for life sciences companies. He has been a Director of Viking Therapeutics, Inc. since May 2014. He has been Director at Nabriva Therapeutics plc since June 23, 2017. He serves as a Director of First Albany Corporation, Repligen Clinical Partners L.P., Broadpoint Capital, Inc. and The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association. He has been a Member of Supervisory Board at Nabriva Therapeutics AG since August 25, 2016. He served as Director of Garnet Biotherapeutics, Inc. Mr. Webster served as Director for Investment Banking Division of Paine Webber Incorporated. He served as Director of HearUSA Inc., since October 2008 until 2012. He served as a Director of Neuronyx, Inc. Mr. Webster holds an A.B. in Economics from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
