Most of the HR team I worked with was in their current role based on tenure at the hospital and not based on being qualified for that role. This creates potential liability and at times a difficult work environment.

Under-qualified and out of touch with what is really going on in the hospitals. The lack of empathy and managements ability to disconnect themselves from the employees that work at the hospitals creates over-worked and under-appreciated employees.
