She served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Staar Surgical Company since April 5, 2017 until October 2, 2017. Ms. Andrews served as the Chief Accounting Officer of Staar Surgical Company since September 2013 until April 2017 and served as its Vice President since April 2005 until September 2013 and has also been its Interim Chief Financial Officer since April 28, 2017. She has been a Member of the financial reporting team at Staar Surgical for more than 10 years. Ms. Andrews served as the Chief Financial Officer of Staar Surgical Company from August 2005 to September 2013 and Vice President of International Finance from 1999 to 2001. She served as the Chief Financial Officer of STAAR Surgical AG from 2005 to September 9, 2013. Ms. Andrews served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of STAAR Surgical Company from April 2005 to August 2005 and as its Principal Accounting Officer since April 2005. Ms. Andrews served in a variety of financial management positions of escalating responsibility within Staar Surgical. From 2001 to 2005, she served as a Global Controller of Staar Surgical Company. She served as Vice President of Finance at Staar Surgical AG (Switzerland) from 1999 to 2001. Ms. Andrews began her tenure at Staar Surgical as the Assistant Controller. Ms. Andrews served as an Internal Auditor for Bourns, Inc. She began her career in finance as an Auditor for KPMG Peat Marwick. Ms. Andrews worked as a senior accountant for a major public accounting firm. She has been an Independent Director of BioTime, Inc. since April 11, 2014. Ms. Andrews holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University.
