I feel I belong at Stanford and will strive to stay here until my end.

I wish Stanford did a better job of getting new hires together. I think, especially within research, a lot of us are recent college graduates and are new to the area. A few social events would be greatly appreciated to decrease loneliness among us.

It has only been 1 month working at Stanford LCGM, and so far everything has been positive. My coworkers have been extremely helpful and welcoming, and as of now, the work environment has been great.

I am a CRC so I think I only have one person on my leadership team, my PI. He has high expectations and wants us to work hard but he also seems to really care about us as persons which is nice.

I've only just started in October 2021, so I'm still grasping the hang of things. I have yet to personally met the executive leadership team. That being said, I am quite pleased on how things are going and where they are heading.

Critical staffing shortages make the onboarding process and workload unsustainable, in turn creating and perpetuating staff burnout. When department metrics are discussed, they are only in the terms of faculty. This leaves out a large portion of the labor force that is also at risk of burnout.

I really appreciate the free public transport and gym access

It's the whole package I take int account that makes it the best

The best part of the compensation package is the flexibility of titles here at LCGM. The salary was also competitive to what is being offered in the Bay; it met other offers but was higher than some.

I like that I have choices in my coverage.

I think the it is great that you have different options when it comes to healthcare

PhD with experience should NOT be underpaid. Morally wrong.

With qualification and experience I should not be an Associate II n earn at that level for a Bay area resident.

I cam from another ARO and had to take a slight pay cut. I thought that the compensation in California would have been equal or above the market price. DCRI pays more in North Carolina.

I just feel there are more to be done to improve in my role beside what I am assigned to at this moment.

We need higher automatic raises to compensate for the above average inflation rate. We also need more merit based raises, sooner. We also need better perks.

I was fortunate enough to have a team of coworkers that have also just started to work here. In addition to that, these coworkers are so friendly and hardworking. I appreciate their effort and hope that I do enough to recognize that.

I value a fast/competitive working environment, and my work is one of the most important pieces of my life. I don't feel that this mentality is shared by most.

People in my department self isolate. theres no real comradery

It's only been 1 month, but from what I've seen so far, everyone has been welcoming and friendly. It's been easy to and ask anyone questions.

I'd like to tangibly experience our proximity to Silicon Valley and the STEM leadership/legacy in our region. I look forward to seeing continued investment in digital transformation, and recruiting/hiring for diversity of perspective and professional experience.
