Executive Bio

Mr. Kirk Wylie has been Senior Vice President and Principal Risk Architect of State Street Corporation since April 05, 2017. Mr. Wylie Co-Founded OpenGamma Limited in 2009 and served as its Chief Innovation Officer since October 27, 2014. Mr. Wylie served as Executive Chairman of OpenGamma Limited. Mr. Wylie served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of OpenGamma Limited until March 2013. Prior to co-founding OpenGamma, Mr. Wylie served as the head of software architecture for the Front Office Technology division of KBC Financial Products. While there, Mr. Wylie was responsible for developing integration and interoperability solutions across KBCFP's disparate lines of business (including Convertible Bonds, Equity Derivatives, Structured Credit and Fund Derivatives). Prior to KBCFP, Mr. Wylie worked for Smartspread, where he was responsible for building the initial analytics and risk management technology stack for Vega Asset Management, a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund management group. Smartspread was Mr. Wylie's first foray into financial services, having started his career in Silicon Valley. While in California, Mr. Wylie worked for a number of technology firms, including Broadbase Software (now KANA), BEA WebLogic (now ORCL), Talking Blocks (now HPQ) and M7 (now ORCL). In addition, Mr. Wylie was a co-founder of Radik Software, Inc. and served as its Chief Technology Officer. He served as Director of OpenGamma Limited. Mr. Wylie obtained his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley, where he did research as an undergraduate in the Database Research Group under professors Mike Stonebraker and Joe Hellerstein.
