Timothy M. Donovan — Senior Managing Director & Head of Real Estate Fund Services for North America at State Street Corporation

Mr. Timothy M. Donovan, Tim has been Senior Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Fund Services for North America at State Street Corporation since May 31, 2012. Mr. Donovan joined State Street from Beacon Residential Management, where he served as its chief executive officer responsible for the asset management of its real estate portfolio. While at Beacon Residential Management, he also served as chief financial officer leading its middle and back office operations. Mr. Donovan served as Chief Executive Officer at Beacon Communities LLC. Mr. Donovan served as the Chief Financial Officer at The Beacon Companies, Inc. Mr. Donovan has more than 18 years of experience in real estate finance, financial reporting and financial management. In addition to his financial responsibilities, he serves as the President of the Beacon's management company and oversees the day-to-day operations of its portfolio of 7500+ units located throughout the eastern United States. Prior to joining Beacon, he served as Vice President of Finance with The Gatehouse Group, Inc. of Boston from 1994 to 1998, where he managed financial operations and reporting, budgeting, administration, treasury functions and development financing. From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Donovan served as Corporate Controller at the Congress Realty Group of Companies managing the overall operations of the Accounting Department and Investor Services. He was also recently nominated to the Board of Trustees of Merrimack College. He Co-Chairs on St. Mary's Senior High School Facilities Committee. He is a Member of the Rental Housing Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and is a Certified Tax Credit Specialist. Mr. Donovan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Merrimack College.
