H. Rodgin Cohen Esq. — Senior Chairman and Partner at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP

Mr. H. Rodgin Cohen, Esq. has been Senior Chairman at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP since January 1, 2010 and serves as its Partner. Mr. Cohen served as Chairman of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from July 1, 2000 to December 31, 2009. He focused on regulatory, acquisitions and securities laws matters for domestic and foreign banking institutions. He engaged in most of the major bank acquisitions in the United States. He worked on the first public offering in the United States by a foreign bank and on a number of other offerings in the United States by foreign banks. Mr. Cohen worked on a wide variety of bank regulatory matters with the four banking regulatory agencies, as well as other governmental agencies, on behalf of many of the largest U.S. and non-U.S. financial institutions and trade associations. He has been a Trustee of The New York and Presbyterian Hospital since 2001. He serves as a Director of The Partnership for New York City, Inc. He served as a Director of One Valley Bancorp, Inc. since 1997. He was a Member of the Group of 30 Study Groups on Financial Institution Reporting (2003) and on Global Institutions, National Supervision and Systemic Risk (1997) and the New York Superintendent's Advisory Committee on Transnational Banking Institutions (1992) and participated in the bank negotiations to free the Iranian hostages. Mr. Cohen has L.L.B and AB from the Harvard University.
