Mr. Tim Emmerson has been employed at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in the position of a Partner since 2007. Mr. Emmerson provides English law advice primarily in the M&A, private equity and equity capital markets areas. Previously Mr. Emmerson has been a partner in the London office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy LLP since 2003, and prior to that was a partner at Freshfields for nine years. Mr. Emmerson has worked on many major M&A and private equity transactions, as well as some of the London market's largest equity offerings, including privatizations. He has advised and represented companies, financial sponsors, investment banks and other financial institutions on transactional, regulatory and reputational issues.
