Outside of management, the employees are very friendly to each other.

Very dishonest and secretive organization. They lie to their employees and stare like dear in headlights when confronted. Still won't back away from the lies.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company sold it's retail company operated stores after lieing to the employees and everyone else by insisting they weren't for sale. The company lied to their employees in order to convince the to relocate 1,500 miles from their homes by swearing they wouldn't be sold, which was already underway
