Robert McKeracher — Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at SunOpta

Mr. Robert Mckeracher, also known as Rob, has been the Chief Financial Officer of SunOpta Inc. since October 1, 2011 and has been its Vice President since October 12, 2011. Mr. McKeracher is responsible for the SunOpta financial affairs and reporting activities including operational and external financial reporting and control, banking, treasury and tax and plays a key role in investor relations and strategic corporate development. He joined SunOpta in 2007 and served as Vice President of Financial Reporting from June 2008 to October 2011 and as Director of Financial Reporting from August 2007 to June 2008. Mr. McKeracher has in-depth knowledge of SunOpta's global operations, internal and external financial reporting practices and regulatory requirements. He played an instrumental role in the continuous development of enhanced financial reporting, business planning and internal control practices across the organization. Prior to SunOpta, Mr. McKeracher served as Manager of Business Planning and Treasury for Magna Entertainment Corp. from May 2003 to August 2007, where he was responsible for consolidating banking relationships and enhancing cash management controls across operations in the U.S. He served four years in public accounting in the assurance and business advisory practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. McKeracher is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto.
