Mr. Gregory S. Patrick, M.E., M.B.A., has been the Chief Financial Officer of Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Former Name: Shire Laboratories, Inc.) since November 2011 and serves as its Vice president. Mr. Patrick served as Principal Accounting Officer at of Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Previously, Mr. Patrick served as a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bionor Immuno AS. Mr. Patrick is a Senior financial executive with extensive experience in strategy development and execution, financial valuation of acquisitions and financial planning and management. Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical industries, spanning Fortune 100, Nasdaq and pre-IPO companies, as well as one of USA's leading management consulting firms. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Financial Operations for Sopherion Therapeutics, Inc. Mr. Patrick served as the Chief Financial Officer of inVentiv Health, Inc. from September 1999 to February 15, 2001. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of MedImmune Inc. from joining in February 2001 to January 8, 2004 and was responsible for all finance, information technology and corporate communications functions. Mr. Patrick served as Chief Financial Officer for Ventiv Health Inc. from 1999 to 2001. Prior to this time, he was employed by Merck & Company Inc. from 1985 to 1999. During this period, Mr. Patrick held a series of positions, including Vice President and Group Controller in 1999 and Vice President and Controller of the manufacturing division from 1991 to 1999. For a similar period of time, Mr. Patrick held a variety of financial valuation positions at Merck, participating in the negotiation, structuring and analysis of numerous licensing, joint venture and business development initiatives. He held positions at Booz, Allen and Hamilton and Exxon Chemical Company. Mr. Patrick received a Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from New York University and a Master of Engineering Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
