I've worked with several contractors & Swissport is by far the best.

Great experience after all work done

My experience at work is fair, it's not too complicated but it does when others don't do there job or we don't have the equipment to do our job.

I like best about the leadership team is that they are diverse

Communication. Letting employees know what is going on rather than leaving them to deal with situations blindly then blaming them for not doing what the manager would have done.

Retirement plan is the best way

We were cutback to part time & will lose our medical benefits on June 30th

Fuel Operators in other companies start out at 50% higher wages than what we get after a year of service. Our annual raise is 2%, not enough to keep up with inflation.

We are not treated with respect and there's always miscommunication or no communication at all. Management lacks responsibility

Aware of safe policies and procedures.

The majority of the Operators have a very strong work ethic and will do whatever it takes to ensure that fuel keeps flowing to the airport without interruption. There is complaining about the lack of management appreciation or involvement, but the job gets done and done well.

We can talk to each other way better than talking to management

Helping others when needed help

Management needs to get involved in something other than covering their own asses. When a problem is reported, the paperwork is thrown away or ignored. When a change comes up, it is not communicated to the Operators and we have to hear about it third hand.

Listening to our needs, especially needs for supplies so we can do our job more efficiently

My interview was short, because I have experience

The interviewer seemed to take an interest in me as a person. Having already made up his mind to hire me, he wanted to get to know who he was hiring.

It went very well on the interview

Learned a lot probably too much during the interview process

I enjoy working around aircraft & my teammates.

When I can complete a shift without incident. All transfers go well, fuel goes out to the airport without interruption, nobody calls me in the middle of the night to ask a question that has nothing to do with my job.

Working on airplanes makes me happy

Nothing other than the pay
