David Wang — Senior Vice President of Technology & IoT Silicon Engineering at Synaptics

Mr. David Wang serves as Senior Vice President of Technology & IoT Silicon Engineering at Synaptics Incorporated. Mr. Wang served as the Senior Vice President of Silicon Engineering at Synaptics Incorporated since September 4, 2012. Mr. Wang joined Synaptics Incorporated in September 2012. He served as the Corporate Vice President of AMD. He was responsible for SOC development of AMD/ATI's processor products (GPU, CPU and APU). He has successfully driven the last eight process technology transitions at AMD/ATI including 28nm. He was a key member of ArtX. He has played key roles in developing solutions for the major game consoles ArtX, ATI and AMD, including the last three generations of Nintendo products. He had held various technical and management positions at SGI, Axil Workstations and LSI Logic. He served as the Raster Subsystem Design Manager at SGI for the high end graphics supercomputer. He served as the Chief Designer for the SPARC system chipset at Axil Workstations and LSI Logic. He serves as Member of Advisory Board at DSP Concepts Inc. He has a BSEE from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan and MSEE degree from the University of Washington, Seattle.
