Executive Bio

Mr. Michael L. Davis has been Head of Defined Contribution Plan Specialists for Institutional Business at T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. since August 2016. Mr. Davis leads the team responsible for expanding the T. Rowe Price Group's reach and strategic engagement capabilities in the U.S. institutional DCIO marketplace. He served as Senior Vice President and Head of Stable Value business of Prudential Retirement Services, Inc., a business unit of Prudential Financial, Inc. since November 2012. Mr. Davis oversaw Prudential's in-plan and third-party stable value product management and development team. Before joining Prudential, Mr. Davis served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor's Employee Benefit Security Administration. Prior to his appointment to the Department of Labor, he held various positions with JP Morgan, including managing director and head of the west region institutional client group for J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In 2006, he was named one of the 75 Most Powerful Blacks on Wall Street by Black Enterprise and has received several other industry and civic awards. Mr. Davis holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
