Mark J. Angus — President & Inside Director at Tandy Leather Factory

Mr. Mark J. Angus has been the President of Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. since June 7, 2016. Mr. Angus served as an Interim President of Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. from February 9, 2016 to June 7, 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President since July 5, 2017 until November 15, 2017 and served as its Senior Vice President since June 2008. He served as Assistant Secretary of Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. since June 2008 until May 19, 2016. He is responsible for product research and development, including intellectual property defense, as well as product costing at Tandy Leather Factory. He manages the import of product from Asia and is the liaison with Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. He oversees Tandy Leather Factory, Inc.'s manufacturing factory operation, involved in product placement with its National Account customers and manages the sales process to major manufacturers and distributors. He has been with Tandy Leather Factory since 1985. Mr. Angus served as an operational Vice President with varying responsibilities since June 1993. He served as a Vice President of Merchandising at Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. since January 1993. He has been involved in buckle and metal design work since 1990. His responsibility with Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. also extends for its design patented belt buckle. He has been an Inside Director of Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. since 2009. Having worked with leathercraft all his life, Mr. Angus also started writing and publishing leathercraft books and designing patterns for leathercraft work in 1982.
